We finish every floor with Bona or Osmo Swedish and German manufacturers who set the benchmark for wood-floor coatings. Both cost us more than the cheaper trade alternatives. We use them anyway because nothing else lasts as long under London foot traffic.
Sweden · Water-based system
The toughest commercial-grade lacquer on the market. Used in hotels, galleries and listed buildings, low-VOC and walkable in 12 hours.
Resin and sanding-dust slurry for invisible gap filling that takes stain just like the surrounding boards.
Germany · Hard-wax oils
The classic German hard-wax oil. Natural matt sheen that lets the grain breathe, repairable in patches, food-safe once cured.
Pigmented oil-wax for stairs, hallways and high-wear rooms where we want colour and protection in one coat.
We come to you, check board condition and existing finish, and bring stain samples so you can decide in the room.
